Bjj Mma
What are the best BJJ / MMA schools in Northern Virginia? What is good about them?

I'm in Virginia, North … Centreville for correct. I'm looking for a good school to learn BJJ and MMA. I try to have a school with instructors experianced and good environment. The school should be near Centerville / chantilly / fairfax … i would like your thoughts on this subject! please tell me what is good about school and why I should go: P

Many very good. I heard that the Spirit is very good. My son has participated in tournaments against some of their students. (Grappling and Jiu Jitsu). Link: http://www.onespiritmartialarts.com/ Yesterday my son was in a fight tournament and we talked to another parent who is highly recommended LA Boxing in Chantilly, especially for muy thai. Link: My http://www.laboxing.com/chantilly/default.asp son studies in two (well, now, in fact 3 schools). He began to Carl Runk's World Karate in Fairfax. The instructor he (Jason … Jason Savage) is very good. They teach a form of catch – no gi. With the instruction of Carl Runk, my son was able to go to gain some number of tournaments such as Copa Nova. They do not have very many students in the classes of BJJ, but you get a good education. They recently hired another instructor who knows a variety of striking skills. They are in the mall on Braddock Road Twinbrook. Highly recommended. Link: http://carlrunk.com/ For the last 9 months my son was also a student at Fairfax Black Belt Academy. The instructor is Joe Cunningham, is brown belt in BJJ and studies Yamasaki Academy (directed by Mario Yamasaki). Joe is a great teacher, focuses on technique, and is excellent in both gi and no gi. Not too many students, but when they are in competition (Diamond State Games, NAGA, etc.), they have generally very well. Again, highly recommended. They are in front of the George Mason University See mall. Link: http://www.bbafairfax.com/ There is also a location Lloyd Irvin in Arlington. That Leo Dalla. It is supposed to be excellent, but a little further away from you. Link: http://www.leodalla.com/ So, this should begin. Go to each one. Do the lessons of the trial – most (if not all) to learn from trial so you can get the feel of the school, instructors, and the levels of other students. Hope that helps.
